Children’s Bedroom

Furnishings in this room include a child-size Eastlake secretary and a full size Eastlake dresser. The large doll shown in the rocker is German. Many of the small pieces of furniture that actually look like children’s toys were actually display models used by door-to-door salesmen before furniture stores were available. Adjoining this room at the top of the stairs is a partial bathroom. This was originally a sleeping area for the Galighers’ youngest son, C. Fred.
