The table, chairs, and sideboard are made of walnut and original to the Galighers. The Galighers enjoyed entertaining and had several leaves making the table large enough to seat twenty-four. Also, each of the chairs were designed to fit different family members and friends. You’ll note that some of the chairs are wider and some are taller than others. The two built-in china cabinets in the corners of the room contain many antique pieces of china as well as some pieces of Mrs. Galighers’ Haviland China, which today is known as “Limoges”. The largest door in the house is seen in this room.
